Presentation: A pleasing label that tells a story if you stop for a second to appreciate it. Old Man Winter rears his head as leaves fall and turn on their backs from a large oak tree. 12 oz. bottle.
Appearance: Clean copper looking with extremely small bubbles producing a thin white lace about the glass.
Smell: Not much on the nose. Slight fruit and caramel with a faded hop aroma.
Taste: A toasty brew with a complex malt sweetness and slight sour fruit pucker. Finishes dry with caramel and hop flavours.
Notes: Of "real ale" in character, and simply a delicious brew. You tend to want more as you get close to the bottom of your pint.
