Amber in color with a moderate off-white head. The aroma is pretty mild, with some malts and wood notes, although nothing really stands out. It's a clean tasting Octoberfest. Malty with caramel flavors and a touch of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Pretty warming. It's a solid beer. I'd definitely give this another look.

Tried this out of a sampler 12 pack...Nice malty aroma with a hint of hops. Smooth mothfeel with a somewhat sweet slickness that is refreshing...Leaves a bit of sweetness that turns slightly bitter on the aftertaste. Appearance was a nice copper that reminded one of the autumn season...Decent head. A very good brew.

This brew pours an amber color with a nice head that leaves a sexy lace behind. The rich malty smell pours out the top of the glass. The hops are mild in aroma which was nice. The malts and hops are very strong to the lips and tongue. Man I really like this. This is a better sampling I had from these guys. This is very easy drinking and feels good all around, I like the fall beers,

Cheers

This Amber/Copper brew is full of rich malt. The fresh whole hops are in abundance. There's a mild citrus taste balancing the light sweetness. Hints of cherries are detected in the flavor and the initial aroma. Well rounded and very balanced. This fire brewed Harvest Ale would create quite a stir at Oktoberfest!

Presentation: 12 oz brown long neck with no freshness date.

Appearance: Amber with reddish orange hues, creamy off white lace show that it is a smooth brew.

Smell: Toasted malt, butterscotch and fruity esters. Yum!

Taste: Medium bodied with a smooth and crisp mouth feel. Lots of nutty and toasted malt flavours that are backed up by a butterscotch diacetyl taste. Fruity esters (golden raisins) and hop bitterness of a noble breed kick the palate the other way and turn this brew towards a crisper cleaner finish.

Notes: Big and malty, lots of complexities and a great hop profile. A sure thing for a fall time brew to wake up the taste buds.
