i just had the anniversary ale on-tap at piece bp and was told it was an extra special pale ale, whatever that means.
a: nice frothy off-white head w/ a beautiful red/rust body; both light movement and light lace
s: really fragrant floral and piney hops with a nice malty warmth and some strong citrus undertones
t: spicy piney hops and sweet fruity malts blend well; some grape as well as light grain; citrus;
m: smooth w/ maybe a lightly aggressive mouthfeel
d: definitely worth a try a nice blend of flavors but i think that their egyptian pale/iipa is a better option

Flakey cream top and extremely dark brown body. Nose was almost identical to Country Time lemonade, like sweet lemon (or lime) iced tea. I happen to like this smell, but it seemed a little silly.
Taste is overwhelmed by the exploding carbonation. A dry, fruity aftertaste survives however. Overall kinda wild. Pretty interesting ale.
