Served in a Tulip glass at the Piece Brewery & Pizzeria on 2012.11.17

A - Came out a cloudy with little head, but some bubbles running up the side.

S - Wheat and citrus and are very pronounced. Spice is a little more subtle.

T - Banana right of the bat followed by some citrus and spice. A hint of hops that is very reserved and just right for this beer.

M - Not as thick as you might think looking at it. Quite crisp and some mild carbonation. Washes clean, no lingering.

O - Not your ordinary Belgian PA or something you dream about. Something in between. Different enough to remember and tasty enough to order it again.

Served in a tulip glass at the brewpub.

I wanted to make a joke based on this beer's name, but I couldn't come up with a good enough one. Sorry. This stuff pours a hazy pale straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, black pepper, and light banana. The taste brings in more of the same, for the most part, coming across as a strong, zippy wit. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a nice little beer, something akin to an imperial wit without the wheatiness and spicing. Not bad, but not really all that great, either.
