On tap at the restaurant:
The beer appeared an opaque, darker, amber color with a nice foamy white head. Not well retained, but did leave some lacing. The beer gave off a much lighter aroma than expected, more malty than hoppy, which is expected from the style, but for an American English IPA, I would have expected more hops. Th beer did have a ice malty taste with light hops, which seemed right for the style. The beer had a light feel, it was very easy to drink, but it did have a rather funky aftertaste. Overall, it was OK.
Overall. 3.5

Served in a nonic pint glass at the brewpub.
I'm gonna assume this was named after the long-reigning queen. I could be wrong, though... Anyway, it pours a cloudy sunset sienna topped by a finger of glowing off-white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, sweet caramel, and earthy greens. The taste focuses on the earthy, spicy greens, adding in some toasted toffee and light lemon zest whenever appropriate. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, a tasty little EIPA, something I just don't see enough of these days...
