Color: amber, clear.
Foam color ecru fine bubble with a few larger blisters. A very long stays in the glass and very nicely adorned them.
Aroma: intense caramel, plum, peel bread and some yeast. My impression is that at the end of palpable butter.
Taste: here a similar, though somewhat calmer. It's caramel but not sweet, are in the background plum and bread, a bit of metal.
Gentian: stacked, dry, perhaps a bit harsh. Saturation of course high, I do not like.
Alcohol: retracted.

Oops I thought this was a wheat beer and poured it into a weizen glass. My bad.
Best before date of November 2014, so it is four months out of date. Ouch.
Served cool from brown 500ml bottle.
L) Light copper, slight hazy, large fluffy white head, looks very appetising.
S) Hints of sweet malts. Other than that, not a lot.
T) Not sweet as the nose suggests, but roasted malt with toffee notes in the taste. Little hop bitterness, but it is there on the aftertaste.
F) Slightly dead; to me it is needs more carbonation to be refreshing.
O) Would have liked to sample a fresher example; if I do, I will update the review scores.
