Pours shiny golden, two finger fluffy white head that goes away pretty fast and leaves a thin sticky lace.
Smell of sweet malts, some blond fruit, some honey, a touch of hops, white bread.
Sweet malty taste, like white cake dough with lots of sugar, touch of apricot, oranges and floral honey. A bit of spice, some hops try to impose, with a decently bitter finish that unfortunately is riddled with metallic notes.
Light bodied, medium carbonation. Aftertaste reminds me of can filled with apricots and sugar syrup.
Way too sweet to be refreshing, big off notes keep it from being tasty. Drinkable, but doesn't make me too curious about the other Uhersky Brod beers..

A light golden beer with a quickly receding white foam leaving very little lace.

The smell is rather faint, some hops, a bit of metallic sweetness.

The taste is also metallic/acid, some malty sweetness but mostly bitter notes. Unfortunately the alcohol is shining thru.

The bubbles are rather sharp and makes the beer a bit dry.

Nothing really stands out - a bit too alcoholic to be a thirst quencher.

A: Golden with hints of brown. A white medium large head. Some carbonationa and faint lacings.

D: Malt (bready with some sweetness), floral hops and some bitter ones as well - but not so strong. A bit fruity. And a very faint smell of wheat.

T: Bready malt, with bitter hops at first but then floral hops. A bit rough and not as well balanced as Czech pilseners usually are.

M: Dry and bitter aftertaste, not to long. Medium body with lots of small bubbles in the carbonation.

D: Not the best Czech pilsener I ever had.

The colour is gold; the high foam quickly sinks down to a thin lid leaving some lacing.

The smell is strong with hoppy notes, some diacetyl, alcohol, chalk and sweet dough. It feels cheap and a bit unbalanced. Maybe it is due to the alcohol?

The taste is unbalanced. Some quickly passing bitter notes, rough malt (crisp bread, dough) and a touch of salty beef stock. The aftertaste got flavours of alcohol and butter cookies.

The carbonation is medium, the bubbles sharp. The liquid is mid-smooth.

An unbalanced Czech? Yes, they indeed exist.
