500ml bottle - wow, I sure hope that things have improved with this offering over the past decade or so.
This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat fizzy bone-white head, which leaves some cannonball splash lace around the glass as it lazily sinks out of sight.
It smells of semi-sweet, grainy and bready wheat malt, sharp lemon notes, sugary coriander, ground black pepper, a weak earthy yeastiness, and some plain leafy, musty, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, a lesser crackery wheatiness, kind of estery yeast, thin coriander and rainbow peppercorn spice, some muddled domestic citrus rind, and more understated earthy, leafy, and musky floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-supporting frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, with just a touch of generic spiciness maybe taking a little off the top here. It finishes trending dry, the spice and laid-back yeast nudging things thusly.
Overall - this comes across as a nice, dry witbier, with all the typical flavours blended and meshed, so that no one dominates the whole. I'm not usually in the mood for something like this, but for some reason, it just works for me right now.

Looks and taste more like a blond beer. Very transparent golden blond color. Kind of lemon taste. Also very bitter.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
Pale straw yellow brew with not much head to speak of.
Lemony aroma, some wheat tartness coming through.
Taste is soapy and lemony and reminds me of dishwashing detergent. No hops. Very watery with low carbonation.
I don't really have anything good to say about this beer, it is the most unpleasant of the Grimoire beers I have tried. Foul stuff.
