Pretty medium / dark brown with a hint of red. Roasty malty, pungent, what I've come to expect from this brewer. Sweet. Not much head. Strong like wine. 11% ABV per the bottle label, not 6.5% reported by BA. I'd like this better and would have rated drinkabillity higher if it had less alcohol. Maltiness is balanced very pleasantly by sweetness and a hint of spice.

Poors out with unstable head and dark brown beer with bordeaux shine. Nose is very co complex, roasty, porty, spicy, sweetsour maltarome and smells oxidised and old.
Taste is very sweet& roasty. With that hard and strong bitterness and some caramellic notes. Very strong for it's ABV and hard to drink cause of sweetness and roast that are just overdone IMO. Most certainly something else as the regular but not quiet my taste.
