A nice 2 finger white head on a brown, clear beer with ruby highlights. The head dissipates quickly. THe aroma is a lovely balance of chocolate and toffee on top of a mild Belgian yeast ester profile. The flavor has a bitter component that is slightly out of place, but the chocolate and toffee are still present to promote a sweet malty finish. A very clean Belgian yeast flavor. The mouthfeel is medium body with a clean finish. Overall this is a very enjoyable beer that I would love to enjoy again if I had more, but it was a single random in a box I had shipped home from Belgium.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is toffee, grass and apples. Not too complex, but fairly nice. The flavor is toffee and brown sugar with some grass hop notes to cut the sweetness. There is also a fruit component to the flavor but it is fairly subtle. The alcohol is well hidden. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Poured into a Westmalle goblet, there was a smallish (1 finger) head that didn't have much staying power. The beer itself is a nice opaque, very dark amber. Large chunks of sediment at the bottom. A very interesting aroma--sweet fruit and bitterness hit at the same time. Smells slightly sugary, but not outrageously so. On first sip, one is greeted by dark fruit flavors (plum maybe), along with a bitterness which stems from roasted malts rather than hops. Sugars definitely present, but again, not overpowering. I picked this bottle out at random, so I had no idea what to expect, but I came out pleasantly surprised.

No freshnessdate carved. Poors in with a not too persistant head and coffebrown beer. Nose is full and fresh having lots of caramel, roast. Next to that lost of yeastyfuitesters and candysugar and litle sourness making this one wonderfull to just smell.
Taste is good and shows lots of body having great maltaromes but also the right amount of sweetness and backed by nic but not overwelming bitterness. Well carbonated and overall very balanced but full mouthfeel.
Something to look out for IMO and pleasure to just enjoy.
