Had on-tap at the brewery.
This is a good session beer and went very well with the house fries and grilled cheese.
Was a nice golden color with an slightly off-white head. Carbonation seemed good and it had the slightest smell of lemon. It was definitely light-bodied with the 3.9% ABV and seemed a bit watery, but may have been too cold. Tasted better as it warmed and even better with the saltiness of the food. Not a lot of bitterness with the 12 IBU. Overall is a great session beer.

Visited the Willoughby Brewing and tried the Toehead Blonde. The beer poured a clear golden color with white head that left a lace on my glass. The smell was typical of most blondes...included hops and a hint of lemon/citrus and malt. The taste was a bit heavy in the malt, that include a lemon zeal. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall a taste beer and definitely sessionable.

golden hue with moderate white head. Decent retention. slightly watery look. Smell is of creamy smooth malts, not overwhelming from the whaft. taste is a slight creamy malt...barley, oat and a touch of hop bitterness at the end, but it is hardly there. flavors of the yeast are noted, but in the background. Light body and creamy feel make this enjoyable. overall, a solid blonde, but very basic.

What a good session beer.
This one was light and refreshing. And it pairs well with standard pub food. Looks as a blonde should. Aromas of hops and a hint of citrus and malt. The only thing I will say bad about this one is that it has slightly more malt presence than the style suggests.
Still crisp and refreshing but slightly overly malty. As a result, the it had a bit fuller body than the style also suggests. No doubt, a solid beer. And I could sit and drink these all night.

If you know me, you know I LOVE big beers. This is not one of those. *I knew that going into it.
This is a perfect starter beer for that friend that you're trying to ween off of the 'fizzy yellow' stuff. This pours crystal clear, with a fleeting head. Some lacing did hang out for the ride. It had a nice light mouth feel, and a solid but light flavor. Malty and sweet like a blonde should be.
