From a twelve ounce aluminum can, this brew is a lightly hazy, gold colored liquid, filled with suspended floaties. Slim white head. The aroma is of musty, thick hops and dry underlining malt. Full in flavor and solid in body. A little sharp fruit...more like peel than like fruit flesh. Medium-full in body. Interesting and good, but not great.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a cloudy orangish with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had some tropical fruit like zeal. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with fruit peel presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

On-tap at Heinen's in University Hts., Ohio
This IPA features galaxy hops. Pours golden with a subtle haze; fluffy white head that falls leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice mixture of tropical and citrus notes. Slightly floral. Some bready malts in the mix. The flavors are pretty bold. Lots of grapefruit and pineapple. Slightly earthy. More floral notes. Lots of fresh grass and pine. Sharp bitterness and lots of hop flavor. Malts are there, but seem to take a backseat. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. Very smooth and easy to drink.
This is a really good IPA. This is a nice showcasing of galaxy hops. Well crafted. Recommended.

Simple, clean IPA. It's a bit too balanced and mild for my west coast favoring palate, but it's hoppy enough to be pleasant.

A - Deep gold, relatively low apparent carbonation, small white head that dissipates relatively quickly
S - Grapefruit, pine, citrus
T - Strong, bitter hoppiness with primarily pine and citrus characteristics. Also orange and floral flavors intermingled. Sweet caramel malt provides excellent balance
F - Medium/heavy bodied. Intensity of hop and malt flavors as well as mouthfeel suggested more of an IIPA. Amazing given the low ABV!
O - Fantastic beer. I think if I tasted this blind against some of the world-renowned examples of the style that it would be difficult to pick out. Great beer!
