Served in a flared glass at the brewery. The board calls it a late-hop imperial red ale.
Hazy auburn. No head no lace. A bit fruity sour on the nose. Taste is very mild, round, wet, and fruity. Very full mouthfeel. Mild flavor. Super drinkable. Fairly recommended.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear brownish amber with a nice solid beige head. They served it in a plastic pint 'glass' for some reason and so the lacing stuck really well. Aroma is tangy malts but no obvious hoppiness really. Flavor is pure crystal malt. A total iced tea bomb. A little salty and a little lactic. I was surprised to hear the bartender tell me it was 8.5% because I don't taste any booze. But that's the only pro in this beer. Easy enough to drink, just not very flavorful or interesting.
