"A strong barleywine style ale with smoked pig ear, maple syrup and dates."
On tap at the Twisted Tasting in Santa Cruz. I don’t know what this is all about. The pig ear sounds pretty gross but it really isn’t explicit or even prominent at all. Sort of like if you dropped a pork rind or two into a glass of english barleywine. Sweet and sticky, hint of salt.
