Copper mostly filtered with moderate carbonation and 3 fingers of beige head.
Smells of caramel, a hint of pine wood resin, bananas and creme brulee.
Tastes of caramel and a hint of creme brulee.
Medium body with little carbonation.
I got this on the back side of Lawson park at some small town, and am drinking it in Redding, Sept 6th, 2019.

First, I love it because it is not a citrusy IPA, per the latest trend. The color is a deep orangy-amber, which tells me there's something going on here. The smell is a bit malty sweet. I don't pick up on aromatic hops here. The strike is sweet, leaving me to wonder momentarily what the hops will bring- and they bring it beautifully. Not too assertive, but bitter enough to counter the sweet and make you think you are drinking a lower alcohol beer. I always taste the sweetness initially, sip after sip, but the hops are a nice balance in the finish. I would like a bit more hop in the aroma, and maybe a tad more bitterness to counter the sweet. But, hey, they're leaving out the lemon-orange-grapefruit citrus so I am not complaining. Decent double IPA. A bit more sticky-syrupy-sweet than I prefer, but no off-putting flavors and, over all, an enjoyable double IPA.

Outstanding. At 95 IBU you would expect harsh bitterness with an after taste. Not this beer, it is very smooth and the alcohol content is hidden.

Copper color, mostly clear. Thin head with streak lacing. Aroma is ripe fruit and caramel malt. Melon, tangerine, and mango. Flavor has hints of grapefruit and pine. Juicy and resinous, with a dry finish. It was one of my favorite beers from this brewery.

Nice bitter, hoppy double that celebrates all things hops. Klamath Basin's brew has a small head with lacing that stays the length of the beverage. Piney notes.
