Purchased at the brewery by our neighbors within the month, but the bottle is not dated. Slightly hazy pour, thin head, light lacing nice aroma - floral and heasty. The beer has a very pronounced malt base, with muted bitterness. It's a bit flat and not as full bodied as I'd expect. We put this in the middle of the pack for a Pale Ale. Drinkable and we'd grab another in the store, but nothing spectacular.

Bright golden color, with a bubbly white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is yeast and light citrus, herbal notes. Flavor is on the tart side to me, lemon, yeast, grass, some hops bitterness in the finish. Astringent and not well balanced in my opinion, the flavor is more from the hops and really not much malt character.

L - Poured by bartender Brittany into a 22-ounce mug. Little head but lacing stayed on glass until the end. Cloudy caramel in color, quite appetizing
S - Did not detect grain scents, only bitter hops. Pine hops more prevalent than citrus.
T - I prefer malty ales, but I learned that this style (American Pale Ale) is allowed to be less malty than its British cousins. That said, I did not detect malt or grain flavors. Taste is all hops, mostly grapefruit and pine.
F - lightly carbonated feel. smooth consistency, not thick.
O - I enjoyed it. This was my first review ever and I wanted to start with one of my favorite brewers. I would recommend to anyone and would have again.
