Outstanding smooth Porter Witt no hint of the peppers....then 5 seconds after you swallow you get a slight but definite heat in the back of your throat!

Appearance: A fairly nice bubble show leads to a two finger head; the liquid is fudge brown with vague tawny highlights; a fair smattering of lacing
Smell: The capsicum from the Carolina Reaper peppers tingle the nostrils; roast and chocolate build underneath
Taste: The heat appears right away (nothing subtle like some other highly acclaimed chili-flavored beers) but it doesn't overwhelm the palate either; chocolate and roast tones develop through the middle and there is a woody flavor in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A worthy addition to the Ninja family; the heat could be toned down a notch and the mouthfeel built up a bit but it is fine the way it is

Hands down the best spicy beer I've ever had the malt nicely compliments the spice
Goes down easy with a little lingering kick

After a week of a horrific chest cold Iam chomping at the bit to drink some good craft beer again!Pours a deep dark chocolate brown with a creamy beige head atop.Chocolate, caramel, roast, and the chilli peppers in the nose,I have to say the Carolina Reaper peppers really make a presence.Roasted and earthy upfront on the palate with a mild chocolate sweetness midway and a big hit of pepper in the finish that lingers.Whoo this is getting pretty warm,a nice beer from A-ville.
