An Impy version of their standard Scout stout, poured a near pitch black but there was a little ruby hue when held up to the light with thinner mocha colored head.Aromas were not as big as some for the style but there was a nice rum soaked fruit qualities and a touch of chocolate.Flavors were more bold than the aromas a big burnt character along with rum butter and raisin with a nice earthy-like finish. The alcohol creeped up a little about half way down the pint keeping me at one as I had more places to go that evening,a preety solid Impy stout to be had.
