Picked up a single as part of a sixer sampler from the Arden Ingles cooler on Airport Road 8-31-24. No canning date; consumed 10-22-24. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured chilled golden with a beautiful white head that has some good hang time.
Nose is giving me hints of tropical, citrus, and floral hops. But it is pretty slight when compared to others.
Taste is a pale malt base in which the hopping lends a nice bitterness but in terms of taste i am some undertones of white wine, passion fruit, and finishes with a well-done gooseberry bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty refreshing.
Overall, this is not a bad beer but it lacks the olfactory and flavor burst typical of the style.

12 oz can with a June 2023 canning date stamped on the bottom. From an Ingles Market in Asheville.
Appearance. Hazy, honey colored body with a very good white head.
This is good but not perfect. The body is too thin and the flavor is not harmonious, seems a bit salty, and falls short of the expectations set by the aroma.

4/28/22, downtown Asheville Coxe Ave.
Lightly hazy, no foam.
Aromas of light floral, pineapple, papaya, and lime.
Upon sipping, it draws the mouth, slight bite on the tip and sides of tongue. Surprisingly lightly sweet. Flavors of papaya and milk sugars. Slightly saline.
