A few good reviews here but this beer fell short for me. It was neither strong in clove nor in banana, though it leaned toward clove in the nose.
They called it "Bavarian," but I found it neither that nor American. In a Bavarian I expect a very nice malt component with the clove/banana balance. Nope. It was so-so.
Fairly dry in finish despite the 1.011 finishing gravity (oxidized?). I was not impressed.
