500 ml bottle, BB 24. March 2011, into tulip.
Pours dark brown with garnet hue body overlain by rather short lived, completely dissipating beige head.
The nose is malts with melanoidin toast-like overtones and faint alcohol. Malty flavor with toasty notes probably derived from usage of malts containing melanoidins and some caramel. The supportive hoppy bitterness is subdued to malty sweetness that lingers but never gets cloying. Somewhat nutty finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and quite hard water. Nothing memorable, though.
