Bridge Road Brewers

Had a lot of their own beers that are sold out elsewhere, but for their regular line it was more expensive for the same beers than my local bottle shop - nice location in historic tourist town. Serves food and has a nice outdoor courtyard

 

This Brewery is located down an alley behind the Tanswell Hotel in Beechworth. The beers have an "Austrian" origin (aka German?). The servers were vey knowledgable about the breers . They have about 8 beers on tap and I was able to sample six of the brews. All the beers are quite solid for their style. They also make some beers under the Chevalier label which seem to have a bit of Belgian flare. They also brew some speialty beers and a couple of one-off beers. For a Brewery they provide excellent pizzas and a few other tidbits to compliment the beers. There is a relaxing beer garden and even a play area for the kids. You are able to purchase beers they have bottled as well as growlers.This was an outstanding stop on the Victoria High Country Brewery Trail.
