XXX Pale Ale

Though the ABV and general profile of this beer falls into the British category, I cannot help but be amazed by the amount of over-zealous hopping for the style. I can't say I complain, but Fuggles are usually so delicate and well-hidden they are a treasure to uncover.

With this beer, you are overwhelmed with Fuggles on the nose, palate, and on the burp. Who knew that you could actually put together a low ABV English ale and still make it taste like drinking Hop-Juice.

Not the most balanced beer ever (the malt character only becomes apparent after the second "my palate is numbed" pint) but an interesting hybrid of styles that is pretty darned tasty.
