Very solid brew. bought at a depanneur in gatineau. For a 6.8% , it is very drinkable.

I gave this a 4.5 for smell because the fruity/citrus/herbal aroma so delightful and pronounced. Cloudy light golden look with a healthy creamy lace. One I opened the can a lovely smooth cream oozed out. For a strong beer, the bitterness doesn't overwhelm allowing the hops to hold its place. Really good beer. Once again, cheers to my home province of Quebec for this! I appreciate the sense of humour. The name of this West Coast IPA is 'Belle Mer' with a picture of a, shall we say, a hoppy woman. 'Belle mer' in English is 'beautiful sea' but it's a bit of a play on words (I think) since 'mer' is pronounced like 'mere' (or mother) which can be interpreted as 'mother in law'. Well played!

I.P.A from Microbrasserie Archibald
Look: Amber pale orange color. Lots of carbonation. Lots of bubble trying to go up but it levitate. Really nice looking beer.
Smell: Hops, herbal, pin, citrus orange, pineapple, grapefruit.
Taste: Citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, pin, herbal. pineapple
Feel: Medium body. Very light even if its a 7,1% ABV
So overall would I recommend it ? Sure so far it is the best from Archibald

Nearly clear with a copper hued color. Moderate but brief head. Good initial lace, spots thereafter.
Very mild and neutral nose. Almost imperceptible.
The flavor is stronger with a solid malt base, light caramel. The hop is straight up bitter without any distinctions. The body is rich with the carbonation muted. Long aftertaste. A good but nondescript IPA.
