On-tap 2/6/2017 at the brewpub in Middletown, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains lager yeast, caramelized malts, some hops and some fruit.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of agave, citrus and caramel. Then some breadiness comes in from lager yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. The hops presence is mild for the style but brings a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, good kick, decent representation of style, this is a decent beer to drink for a while.
