A rusty brown with a thin, tan head (about a quarter finger, just a covering).
Hot alcohol and buttery toffee on the nose, some brown sugar sweetness and maybe a hint of roast and dark chocolate.
On the palate this is exceptionally dry, a slick mid-palate toffee/butter sweetness with little malt complexity. Nice bitter finish that's on the mild size. Shows its alcohol even when cool.
A bit thin and slippery. Not robust and warming.
Not awful, but not good, either. Temp control, guys, temp control.
