Poured 16oz can into snifter. Dark orange gold with a nice 2.5 finger white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. The
aroma is very intense fresh mango and the hops are noticeable, citrusy and floral. A big mango flavor hits right away and moves into citrus, with lots of floral and pine notes, and a crisp light bready malt in the middle. Slightly medium feel with good carbonation and a bitter, dry finish. This beer is very flavorful in you like mangoes and is a great thirst quencher.

A couple clarifications. The can labels as a "Mango Double Pale Ale". The name of the beer is "Mango Gnome" listed at 6.0% and 45 IBUs.
A-Hazy Copper. 1/2" head
S-Mango and malt. Short, sweet, and simple.
T-Lots of fruit with little hop. Comes across as more of a fruit beer. The pale ale-ness is almost an afterthought. Not knocking it because it is very flavorful.
M-Smoooooth. Carbonation is spot on. I'll have quite a few silhos while boating on the Mississippi.
O-Strange but good beer. It's been my go to this summer when I can find it in La Crosse. This can came from the Recovery Room.

i really thought i was over the fruited ipa thing, but turns out maybe its just the citrus ipa that i am over. this is excellent stuff, i like the mango, not exactly following the trend. its quite mango forward, as much a fruit beer as an ipa, without question. its sweet but it hits at just the right moment, and the flavor of the mango is awesome, summery and tropical, and actually a better compliment to the hops than most citrus fruit in my experience lately. the sweetness balances the hop bitterness, seems to showcase more of the oily hop textural thing, and the juicy aspect of the hops comes out a lot as well, lingers long with the mango on the tongue. for being sweeter, it still packs some sturdy hop bitterness later on, a real nice way to finish it off. carbonation is on point and the whole thing has a lightness about it, super easy drinking. this was a nice brew to have with pizza. my first from these guys, almost makes me a believer in a style i have railed against in the past. very well done.
