Clear brown appearance. Thick, long-lasting creamy beige head. Looks great. Aroma is of soft caramel, toffee and some nuts. Also a little hoppiness. The taste comes through in a big way with great nuttiness noticed first and foremost. This quality remains throughout the full glass. Clean malt properties are evident and serves as proof that this beer has been lagered properly. Caramel, toffee and vanilla accent nicely as well. And there's also a nice little lingering hop bitterness and dryness as well. Mouthfeel is great as well. This is the kind of beer that feels like it dissolves in the mouth. Great alt. Looks like I have to add another "head" to my Mount Rushmore of Alts.
