On tap at Barley John's, this pours an opaque orange amber in color, with a substantial white head and ample lacing on the glass. There is a fruity brandylike smell. The taste is of apricots, peaches, and brandy, with a hint of vanilla. The mouthfeel seems appropriate. I don't know the alcohol content, but for a Belgian single, this packs a whallop. It's plenty tasty, but one at a sitting is enough. Still, a fine effort.

Deep golden color...on the aroma there are some spicy notes(mainly black pepper)..also some vanilla bean and banana..almost hefe like..
Sweet vanilla flavor maltiness with a nice touch of peperry spice..
Medium bodiend...creamy texture..
Very nice single...actually pretty rich and sweet for the style...I could definitely handle a few of these at one sitting...

I'm a bit surprised that there's no section here for a Belgian single, which this is, so I tossed the dart at this stylistic designation. And there we go...
Lovely looking in the glass, a hazy, golden orange, under a considerable head, looking nice...
Aroma was very lovely, a mix of citrus, spice, yeast and more, very uplifting and aromatic.
Taste is this again and then some, zesty, citric, spicy, tasty, very flavorful, mucho deliciouso...for a style little attempted by any American breweries, this is a revelation. I've had a few "real" versions, and this one "hit it"!
I had two servings and would've had more, if it weren't closing time. I urge one and all to march up (or down) to NB and try some of this!
