Dark brown with crimson edges, fluffy tan head, good-sized and staying...
Soft, cocoa & nut-toned aroma...
Full-bodied, caramel flavor, dry and earthy....a very nice blend, not nearly as sweet as that style of brown that comes from the town that needs no more coals.
Nicely balanced, gritty, and dried out, eventually....smooth, very, judiciously smooth.
A quality brown ale, that I didn't mind drinking in the least.
