A - An amber colored beer with spots of stick on the sides of the glass. Bit of foam in there with some decent retention.

S - Smells a bit like an english better with toffee and malts. Malt profile is a bit citrusy and lightens this beer up.

T - Didn't know exactly what to expect on this one, but it was interesting. Once again, reminded me of an english bitter with some light malts and a little bit of citrusy (but not real sweet) hops. Not bad.

M - Creamy, but a bit undercarbonated.

D - Highly drinkable, wish it had some more carbonation, would seem a little lighter, but could easily session this.

On tap at the brew pub into a pint glass...Pours a a clear medium copper with a light tan head, great lacing...A sweet aroma of pale malts, bread, pineapple and oats, like it...The taste is complex and tastey. Its light but makes it easy to drink, light bread on the front with a hop finish. An extremely creamy smooth taste and feel which makes it so easy to drink. The finish has a nice bite which wakes me up and has me coming back for more.

A super interesting and good tasting beer that is well worth trying if you're at the pub. The first beer you should order.

"American style pale ale brewed using generous amounts of flaked Oats and enhanced with generous amounts of Amarillo & Simcoe hops. Malt smoothness from the Oats and citrus aggressiveness from the hops."

Had this on-tap at Barley John's upon our arrival in the Twin Cities. Served in a pint glass.

A - Served with a finger of soapy foam that eventually settled t a chunky cap, and left behind glass-coasting lace. Slightly hazed copper body.

S - Sweet sugar and toffee malt, tropical fruit punch, maybe a touch of cotton candy. There's some light citrus and cattiness in the periphery.

T - I like the taste a bit more on this one, as there's an element of grapefruit bitterness that balance all the malt sweetness found in the nose.

M - Carbonation is medium-low, nice smooth medium body. Light dryness in the finish, and some residual oily hop resins.

D - Very drinkable! My glass emptied while waiting for my pizza. Interesting to see oats at work in a pale beer - as usual the made the feel very smooth and creamy but didn't have much flavor impact. Would have this again for sure if it showed up on-tap somewhere outside the brewpub.
