Pours a translucent amber-copper with a finger of white foam. Aroma is pilsner, crackery, wafery malts and light earthy hops. Flavor profile crackery, wafery, bready, earthy malts with a little caramel and chocolate sweetness on the finish. Mouth feel is fuzzy with a medium thickness. Overall, malty with just a light nod to hops. Very simple
Draft.

Poured out a burgundy color with a small, foamy, off-white head. It smelled malty and citrusy. A nice sharp bitter hop bite. It has a sweet caramel flavor. It was crisp with a dry finish.

Floral hops, lightly fruity specialty malt aroma, and a touch of citrus, though muted.
Fairly sweet malt flavor, with earthy notes and a moderately bitter, fruity malt finish.

Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub in August 2009.
Pours a moderate amber-brown color with a short off white head and just a touch of lacing. The nose brigs some light bready malt with a hint of caramel. Flavor is bread, caramel, and toffee. Light to medium body with good carbonation. Drinks pretty well overall but nothing too special.
