Loaded with cascade and dry centennial hops, the Red Rider’s intense hop character is balanced by alcohol flavors while the addition of various caramel malts create a deep red amber color.

Big fruity specialty malt and citrus hop character, with nutty malt undertones. Flavor is a touch sweet, but fairly hoppy, with fruity malt notes throughout.

A. Pours a brilliant crimson color with little head. What head there is does not last long but does leave decent lacing on the glass.
S. The nose is almost all malt with only a hint of hops in the background. Plenty of caramel malt and toffee notes to go around but little else.
T. It is sweet and malty but like the nose there is little else. The hops are more apparent in the taste than by the smell. there is a slight aftertaste I cannot place but it doesn't belong.
M. light to medium mouthfeel. I could use a little more here as well. The previously mentioned aftertaste is quite distracting.
D. Overall a decent beer but not what I have come to expect from LBs.
