Deep and clear auburn tinted chestnut color. The color combination reminds me of a trip through northern Wisconsin in early October. Autumnal all the way. A slight beige head recedes to a long lasting collar. Aroma is of ripe fruits and caramel, laced with alcohol. I love the fruit flavors to this beer. Ripe banana, dark cherry, plum. Rum soaked raisins. Alcohol is prevalent at the start, but really starts to mellow and blend about halfway through the growler. Caramel malts dominate the malt profile, but there's some toasted character as well and toffee to boot. Hops play a somewhat insignificant role, but they do balance effectively. The flame of alcohol subsides as you drink more and more of this nectar. The body is medium at best and this beer is quite drinkable for the a/v present. This is really a nice beer. I'm glad I got a growler of this when I had the chance.

Working my way through a growler of this tonight (can we say headache tomorrow)....This is only my second 10 ounce glass so I am still coherent...

Pours a nice cherrywood color with a very small white lace....Nose is dark fruits...some black cherries...also plums...also some sweet molasses or brown sugar but in a subtle way...

Alcohol is evident in the taste and it really bites hard (I guess at 10% you should expect that)..almost like there is a shot of everclear or vodka in this...in a way it helps to slice into the sweeter flavors and lends some balance...but this is not a SUPER sweet beer so it hits the buds a little hard...Flavors are dark fruits...along with a caramel note...not as much molasses/brown sugar on the taste...

Overall, drinking a growler of this will be a challenge...not because of the ABV, but because of the sharp alcohol flavor and bite...don't get me wrong...it's a good triple bock...just not a special creation...I think this would be a better beer with sweeter, thicker flavors and mouthfeel....that way the alcohol would complement and not overwhelm...

Give this brewerty a hand though for their variety of beers and solid interpretations...This is a good triple bock and I would drink it again...

What's this? A triple bock in a MN brewpub? Well lets see...color is a caramel brown with a bit of a chill haze and goldish highlights. Small, fluffy, but densly thick bone white head; the lace in hefty sticking thin sheets that don't budge. Smell is very light of toffee and caramel some dried fruit sweetness and a bit of alcohol comes out when swirled. Taste is incredibly mellow and creamy smooth with good alcoholic brandy-like warmth that comes through right away. Malts are light with soft caramel and toffee, notes of hazelnuts linger along with a bit of peppery spice. Feel is substantially thin for a T bock, quite light, smooth for sure, close to getting medium at the midway point with nice warmth and a pleasing mellow finish. Took no time to finish this off due to its lack of complexity and boldness. Sure goes down easy, way to easy, the 10% takes hold quickly as it was consumed by yours truly within about 3 minutes. Even though it was a cinch to drink, for a triple bock, its missing by a good portion of complextity and malt heft compared to most other dubblebocks or even some great bocks.
