We aged a strong dark beer base in bourbon barrels with Lactobacillus for 1 year. This beer was then racked onto cherries in a stainless vessel. The result? A moderately sour, cherry-infused strong dark sour ale. That’s a lot of adjectives. It might be easier to taste it and see for yourself!

750 mL bottle. Black body. Small khaki head. Smells very roasty. Bourbon barrel is prominent. Just a bit of acidity. Tastes much more sour. Lactic acidity. Heavy roasted malt. A little cherry, but it's a secondary flavor. Medium body. Not the best flavor combination.
