Darker red moving towards brown. Very clear. Tan head that's not too big.
In both the aroma and flavor the traditional Belgian yeast qualities are subdued with minimal spice and/or phenols. This is a malt enhanced style with lots of different fruits and not just dark and dried. Lighter fruits including moving towards berries as well. Softer on the malt richness and reasonably smooth. Mild drying esp. for style.
This is an enjoyable and unique dubbel. Minimal to no hop character.
