Originally reviewed May 4, 2005. On tap at the Red Star Lounge. Rich amber brown color, topped with ivory foam head. Aroma is a thin dusty malt. A dry, oaky smooth drink. Strong cascade hops and a sweet sugary background. Reminiscent of an Irish Ale. Finish is dry and of peat. A little too hopped for the style, in my opinion.
