Originally reviwed on September 28, 2005. Ruby red wine brown dark clear pour, witha creamy tan head. Light brown sugar aroma. Very yeasty and hoppy flavor. Some orange peel and angelica, with light brandied notes. Really off-style and hard to describe. Another brown palate for Mr. Hoops to display his hop-strong artistry. Peculiar strong floral smack, likely from this bizarre combo of yeasts. Doesnt finish hop bitter, just oaky dry with a sweet tangerine tinge.
