A: golden hazy orange with some sediment. not much in terms of head retention.

S: banana cloves and yeast.

T: wheat with a mild citrus middle and more wheat at the end. very enjoyable and well crafted hefe!

M: thin/well carbonated.

D: another great summer brew!

A - Poured a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, soapy white head that had decent retention. It left minimal lacing.

S - It smelled of banana, clove and cracked wheat. Smells like a fresh German hefe.

T - Good flavors of wheat, banana, clove and yeast. It had a spicy bite, too.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light to medium bodied ale with a snappy, dry finish.

D - This is a really good American version of a hefeweizen. It was nice to have a growler of a sessionable brew while in the North woods.

A-Deep gold with oak highlights..minimal head...

S-Very nice...banana and vanilla are dominant but there is some spiciness too...not sure you could get a hefe to smell any better than this one....

T-The taste is not quite as outstanding as the aroma but along the same lines....a lot of vanilla and mashed banana...

M-Smooth and creamy..some times I get hefes's with a a little astringent character to them (this year's Dancing Man has that a little)...not this beer....smooth and creamy...

D-Heck of a hefe...could drink a lot of this...very drinkable and flavorful. One of the best I have had..

Served in a hefe glass, the beer is a hazy peach with an off-white head.

It has a clove and banana nose and smells very fresh.

It starts with a big blast of cloves and banana with other spices and grains. It is very Teutonic and tasty.

The mouth is slick with pinpricks of carbonation.

Nice easy drinker. A good example of the style and a nice treat

This beer came in a sharp looking, hexagonal bottomed weizen glass. It looked especially murky, but was honey color that faded to straw near the edges. The head was a creamy egg shell white.

Smells of honey, orange juice and a tangy apricot with a sour wheat beneath.

Tastes surprisingly well. A great representation of the style. There’s a light and easy corn, wheat, white flower and honey that effortlessly fades into a sour lime and under-ripe orange.

This one leaves the edges of my tongue tingling. The density is appropriate for the style with a swarm of bubbles that fades away clean and easy when I swallow.

I’m always pleased to drink a solid, clean hefe, especially when it’s local.
