The Undertow Pilsner was on as a special. Served in a standard pint, the beer is gold with a lot of chill haze. Small ring of head.

Grainy aroma backed by some herbal hops. Not surprisingly, the beer smelled very fresh and inviting.

The taste is of fresh grains, light floral notes and some thing a bit puckering. The malts are very prominent, but the hops keep things in balance. This is a chewy pilsner.

The mouth is thicker than expected with low carbonation. Very easy drinker that adds a nice stylistic twist! I found this an easy beer to pair with food.
