went to Fitgers on 5/22/2021. picked up two crowlers of this.
taste is grapefruit, lemon, white grape. a flash of sweet smooth malt mixed in. Finish lasts a while that is bitter (Rind, grass, pine) a solid beer good for hot weather
Brewery notes: A modern take on a Pilsner, this “New Zealand” Lager offers a dominant focus on Nelson Sauvin Hops. Named after both the founding region in New Zealand and the Sauvignon Blanc grape, Nelson Sauvin hops are a perfect summertime hop that possess strong fruity aromas and flavors of tropical fruit and crushed grape that mingle with grapefruit and tangerine. This is a delicate yet assertive lager with moderate bitterness. Bright yellow in color with a strong frothy white head. Dry hopped at lager temperature (32°F) with Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin to add aromas of pine, citrus, and white wine. ABV: 6.0% IBU: 37
