Glowing orange amber body. No head. Just a thin rimming of beige. Lacing is spotty. Thick and rich malty aroma. Nice toasted malt tones with some hazelnut thrown in as well. Flavor follows suit with a full malt flavor. Toasted malt and hints of hazelnut. A little caramel as well. Full bodied. Viscous. Carbonation is low. Flatish. Growler cap says June 11, 2010, but I don't think this one kept its carbonation in the growler. Take away the mouthfeel issues, and this is a top notch marzen. As is, it is still quite good.
