Poured from growler into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a dark brown amber color with half inch off white head that quickly recedes. Looks malty.
S: Clove, banana, and sweet caramel malt.
T: Follows aroma with clove, banana, and sweet caramel malt. Overly sweet.
M: Light body. Sweet. Oily feel.
D: A malty take on the style. Not bad, but not exactly what I look for in a hefeweizen.

Darkest here I've ever seen but flavor is on point.

Darker than typical for style with a amber of browns covering the golds. Fairly cloudy. One inch white head.
Full on banana and other soft phenols, and also noting some malt character.
Flavor holds more barley malt tastes than most for style. Still enough banana, and some mild spice. Mild tartness and soft on wheat flavors.
Slightly heftier body and not quite as refreshing as most.
Unique and tasty. The abv range was in the 4's, I just don't remember the exact number. Drinks perfectly nicely.
