Served on tap at Fitger's. Pour a reddish gold, nice and clear, spotty lacing, minimal retention. The nose has restrained coffee roasted character along with caramel malts. The taste starts off with a clean malty sweetness and followed by loads of fresh gourmet coffee. A bit of sweetness on the finish, interesting combo of flavors, must say it works well. Mouthfeel is light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, I must say the lager with coffee works well.

A - Pours a nice light amber color. Spot on for
a Vienna Lager.
S - Smells nice and malty/bready. Coffee
aroma is there, but is nicely a background
note. Coffee is not overpowering at all.
Perfect!
T - A very nice, tasty/malty Vienna lager, with
just the perfect amount of coffee added.
Most coffee beers now days are of the stout
and porter varieties and with too much
coffee, that tends to cover the base beer.
M - Mouthfeel is light to medium, with the
awesome characteristics of a Vienna lager.
O - This beer was well-crafted. The balance
acheived was excellent. The coffee plays
2nd fiddle, but is very discernable. I loved
this beer! Cheers Fitger's!
