Served in a standard straight sided pint, the beer is a dark garnet with a beige head and nice lacing.
I has an aroma a bit of pine, a hint of citrus and, some toffee and some floral notes.
The alcohol is well hidden, there is some pine resin, a bit of sweet malt, pepper and some hard candy.
The mouth is yeoman like with good heft.
I like their take on a Belgian IPA. Maybe turn-up the funk but it works for me.
