The Beaver Bay Brown was one of the rotating seasonals during my last visit (8/20/13) Served in a standard pint, the beer is almost a dark red with light brown highlights. Nice beige lacing.
It has an aroma of alts and bit of molasses.
The beer starts with some nice grains and a hint of brown sugar. It fades fairly quickly with a bit of cooked vegie. That fortunately disappears by mid glass. Beer never really seems to come together, but there are some good bits.
The mouth is nice with good heft and slickness.
It is decent and worth a try but not a repeater for me.
