Spiced nuthugger
Pint served on tap at Uplands production facility.
A: Pours dark brown with a thin layer of off white head that leaves a thin collar.
S: Lots of subtle spices on the aroma. Can't put a finger on anything taking lead, just a very good balance.
T: Taste seems to fall into a pumpkin/yam style. Reminds me of fall! Lots of spices coming through in the flavor, a delicate balance of malt sweetness and pumpkin/spice that works very well.
M: Low carb as expected. Very smooth, near velvety on the tongue.
O: A very good rendition of the nuthugger. Very drinkable, before I even realized it I was near done with the glass!

guys onsite report that this one was aged in bourbon barrels (Willet or Buffalo Trace) for a month or two and spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice.
cold from the tap at the production facility an opaque chocolate brown with a super thin, short lasting mocha head.
aroma of pumpkin pie spices and brown sugars creamed with a stick of butter.
big bodied, medium carbonation, smooth and sweet.
great big pumpkin pie up front and all over the palate, vanilla, subtle oak, brown sugars. super sweet.
scary drinkable.
