Stoaked is a luscious Belgian style quadrupel that pours a deep amber hue with shades of copper and ruby. Alluring aromas of ripe fig, cherry and subtle spice and caramel pull you in. Maturing for months on oak, Stoaked reveals a profound vanilla character and malty sweetness, supported by a creamy mouthfeel. With a clean finish and a lingering sweetness, this beer is dangerously drinkable for a beverage of its strength.

Sat on this for a year, the oak is present primarily on the nose, otherwise it's pretty much a straightforward quad.
Mahogany colored, tan head, the oak is present on the nose along with the Belgian sugars and stone fruit. The oak recedes into the background on the taste, letting the sugars and stone fruit flavors have their moment in the spotlight. Nicely done by Upland.

Appearance: Deep ruddy ruby, with a thin head of off-white suds. No lace here.
Aroma: Boozy, fruity. Not sure here.
Taste: Strong and heavy right up front, with dark fruits and Belgian yeasts followed up by a husky warmth and a hint of oak. This one isn’t hiding the alcohol, as the burn ends up right on the palate as it finishes. Tastes bigger than it is, and remains a slow sipper.
