Hazy, orange color. Thin, white head that quickly disappeared. Citrus, passionfruit, and lemon are in the aroma. Moderately tart taste with fruity notes and light sweetness. Refreshing.

Partly cloudy, pale yellow body; fizzy; initially nice head that quickly fades to a thin, patchy wisp of suds. Gentle sour and citrus smell; lemon. Excellent lemon and lime flavor with just a touch of salt on the back end; a light cracker presence. Medium body; mildly tart and acidic; bubbly; dry juiciness.
This is a nicely balanced and nuanced beer. It brings a nice delicacy of light citrus flavor with a respectable touch of salt in the background.

It was the beer of times, it was the gose of times. As the sour German-styled ale of Upland celebrates the fruits of passionfruit and mango, their tart and fruity beer is a tale of two tarts.
Pale and burnish lemon, Two Of Tarts pours with a hazy body and a spritzy froth. Fast dissolving, the racy bubbles produce a tangy and fruity scent laced with yeast and wheat germ before falling on a taste of saltwater taffy, fruit tart and sourdough.
As the flavors continue to open up on the middle palate, the grain, cereal and malt falls off and what comes in their wake are a blend of fruit acidities. Bold on lime, lemon, grapefruit and white grape, the natural fermentation sourness of the ale hold center stage while the fruit additions of passionfruit are more moderate and the mango are lighter in presence. Low bitterness allows the brisk tartness to control the balance as the fruity and vinous character late on the palate.
Medium light in body, a mild mannered salinity gives the ale a roundness in taste but doesn't interfere with the beer's brisk and refreshing acidity. Finishing quick with remnants of fruit acids, a fast follow through of sourdough and seltzer keeps the beer tart but never quite breaking through to sour territory.

Surprisingly good fresh. Poured fresh on tap at the brewery. Nice light straw color. Great aroma of mango, pear and passion fruit. Taste follows the nose but sour. Well balanced sour beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of mango, lemon and citrus. Tart with some sweet fruits and a hint of salt.
