750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 1/18/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep ruby red/light purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with solid retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, peach, plum, cherry, pear, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, boysenberries, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, peach, plum, cherry, pear, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy berries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, peach, plum, cherry, pear, melon, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, pepper, wheat, cracker, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, boysenberries, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness, tangy fruit, and spiciness balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness, tangy fruit, yeast/oak spiciness, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is a fantastic fruited sour/wild ale. All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, boysenberries, oak barrels, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Amazingly balanced juicy/jammy berries, and Brett/Bacteria complexity; nice oak presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Their fruited sours are always impressive. This was not as lactically sour as most others.

Out of all the Kardashians, this beer is probably Kim. Thing is just thick and luscious with each sip wanting you to come back for more. Boysenberry don’t stop there cuz it ends with a beautiful pungent kick.

Yes, Raul is feeling this one.

On tap at Spokeasy Public House

A: Pours hazy deep magenta with a frothy light pink head that settles to a light layer and leaves beautifully. Looks almost like a smoothie.

S: Tart, light fruity notes almost like white wine, a little funk, boysenberries slowly come out towards the back end.

T: Lactic sour bite up front, slowly gives way to tart boysenberries, light fruity notes buried in there, with just a little earthy funk.

M: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Nice lactic bite.

O: I'm a sucker for berries so I had to try this one. From first glance you could tell they weren't messing around.
